Classifying Triangles
Step 1- Open your book up to Pg. 474.
Step 2- Title your white paper Classifying Triangles
Step 3- Skip one Line and write the following Notes on your paper.
- A Polygon is a closed plane figure with at least 3 sides. The Sides meet only at their Endpoints.
- A Triangle is a Polygon with 3 sides.
- You can classify Triangles by angle measures.
- You can Also Classify triangles by the length of their sides. Tick marks are used to show congruent sides of a figure.
Step 4- On White Computer paper Draw & Identify the following Triangles just as they appear in the book;
- Acute triangle
- Right Triangle
- Obtuse Triangle
- Equilateral Triangle
- Isosceles Triangle
- Scalene Triangle
Step 5- Practice on the back of this white paper by completing #1, a, b, & c at the bottom of Pg. 474.
